CMT's 7th Africa Cementrade Summit

Ethiopia: The Ministry of Industry has released a draft Cement Industry Development Strategy that intends to increase domestic cement consumption to 20Mt/yr by 2025. Around US$30m will be required to realize the strategy plan that will include providingsupport to cement plants and overcoming the general shortage of cement in the country. 22/12/14,

The company is setting up a new 2.5 Million MT per annum cement plant at Oromiya National Regional Government, West Shewa Zone, Ada BergaDistrict, which is 85kms, from Addis Ababa with the capital investment of USD 550 Million.
